Title:
Ballast Locomotives
Description:
Our very first freight train in this album passes the West Palm Station. This train is a Work Train that is picking up ballast at Workshop b. Brightline doesn't run Freight/Work Trains very often but is a part of the Florida East Coast Railway. At Workshop b, there is an FEC Railyard next to the shed where they store and maintain the trains. The Susan G. Komen breast cancer locomotive displayed here on this image and is recognized as #425 and the other one #436 that is not in this image doesn't come out very often on the FEC Railway. Although, it can be seen often in St. Augustine, FL.
